It's time again for bocce action. There are a couple of small changes to the schedule this year. We start on Wednesdays and then switch to Tuesdays in February.
I'd like to welcome the rookies and I hope the vets have been keeping up with their strength and conditioning regimen.
Louie (owner of Half Time) started the first week guns blazing. The Urban Achievers face Mondollo's. I also thought the team name was Modelo's, but I could be wrong. Either way, the rookies should be aware of Larry, the team captain of Mondollo. He isn't quite caught up with his etiquette training, so don't pay too much attention to what he says. Essentially, he makes Joey look like Mother Teresa.
Half Time Wrecked faces Price is Rite, another team with a rich tradition. The rookies of Half Time Wrecked have some big shoes to fill with the departure of Joey and Kelly. Or not, seeing that The Urban Achievers smoked them in the standings.
